I was responsible for researching references to develop the creative concept and lighting setup for the shoot to best showcase the product we were promoting.
I then created all the on-site, off-site, social media and newsletter assets.
Concept:
Primarily full-length and close-up shots of boots taken in the studio. Inspired by the monochromatic collection, we played with the juxtaposition of a black and white background to enhance the contrast it would bring. The black look was photographed against the white background, and vice versa. This approach helped to create a bold look and feel, bringing out the collection in its entirety.
The style is edgy and glossy, yet at the same time, authentic. The harsh lighting adds a touch of tranquil boldness.
